A botanical illustration of three delightful Gerbera stems.

We often see these in bouquets and their vibrant colours always enliven floral displays.

Using a variation of grades to capture the tone on the leaves, stems and blooms, I used Faber Castell 9000 graphite pencils.

This graphite drawing always gives me joy because these flowers cannot fail but to bring a smile.

This work has enough room for a quality mount and would look wonderful with a simple black or white frame.
